Often times, the difference between shallow voluntourism and meaningful, impactful service is the care and mindfulness with which you approach the experience. EF, the World Leader in International Education, brought the sustainable, NGO-led care to their service programs—but asked our help in generating materials to stimulate mindfulness in the participants.

The EF Field Guide was drafted in close collaboration with the EF Service Team and with careful research into mindfulness practices—and was born of the notion that decency in the world grows when you are aware of your impact upon it.
