Summiting Kilimanjaro (coming soon)

As part of a fundraising drive for Njabini-based Flying Kites, a nonprofit striving to transform primary education in rural Kenya, a group of American travelers (including yours truly) underwent the harrowing task of summiting the largest, free-standing mountain in the world—Mount Kilimanjaro. Between bouts of lightheadedness and nausea, we took some photos of this other-worldly landscape.
