When traveling, the iconic monuments and historical sites are important to see—but it’s the people you meet and the experiences you share that truly make an impact. A producer, a local tour director, and I traveled around Portugal to illustrate just that for EF, the world leader in international education.

Focusing on the people that keep traditional Portuguese culture alive we interviewed the last luthier of Porto, a pair of tile experts, the owner and operator of the oldest conserviera, a 91 year old lace maker, restaurant owners, locals, and more than our share of gelato slingers.
